The Great Magic Shootout
This has, historically, been one of the the most informative parts of our event, so we are allowing more time for it this year.
The Shootout this year will be a competition between existing Magic applications. You will be asked to show how and why your application can (and does) compete, in the open market, against non-Magic applications. You can talk about anything relating to the application and your particular market, including user interface, cost, ability to integrate with another application, and restructuring work flow for your clients.
It's up to you to convince the audience why your application is better. Screenshots of your competitor's application or checklists of features are a good idea. However, don't share anything that violates some security agreement.
Each entry will be rated by the audience. The person with the most votes will get first choice of prizes, followed by the second, etc.
Prizes include:
1. A new Apple laptop
2. A license to the Magic Optimizer, from Ocean Solutions
3. A new widescreen monitor
4. A new iPod
5. Really good seats to the Tuesday night's presentation of KA.
